Over 400 people today received free treatment during a medical camp at Kanyaa and Kakululo in Migwani, Kitui County.

The residents of Kitui County today enjoyed free medical services sponsored by the County Government of Kitui’s Mobile Clinic Service, in Partnership with University of Nairobi, Mwlngi KMTC, and organized by proffessionals from the area, as a goodwill gesture for Easter Holiday.

Health and Sanitation Minister Rosaita Ngina was represented by Acting CO Mr. Fidelis Mwaniki, who delivered the message from the County Governor, Madam Charity Ngilu. He urged citizens of Mwingi West to be attending regular medical check ups on Cervical Cancer, diabetes, and blood pressure, even when they are not sick.

Speaking speaking also in the function, the Principal of MTC- Mwingi. Ms. Mary Kibue said the Institution’s portal for September 2018 intake was now open and urged the people of Mwingi West to apply for admission.

Dr. Temi Mutia, an advisor to the Governor, who was in attendance urged the people of Kanyaa and Kakululo to join / form Cooperatives, especially for marketing their forth coming Ndengu harvest. Where by he was supported by Mwingi West Professionals chairman Mr. Justus Musango, who urged the people to take advantage of Governor Ngilus Agenda no. 5 on Wealth Creation and form Cooperatives to Market their Ndengu.

Other leaders of Mwingi Professionals who were present in the event included Justus Ngotho, Janet Kanini Makai, and Raff Mwinzi.

The Area MP, Mr. Him Nguna who was not present but supported the event fully, called and spoke to the crowd over the phone on speakers.
